Pamela Ledesma
I am a political scientist with a Master’s degree in Political Analysis from the Complutense University of Madrid
(UCM) and a Bachelor’s in Political Science and International Relations from UDLA (Quito). My expertise spans media strategy, political consulting, and gender advocacy, with experience in political communication, feminist analysis, and strategic social media.
Currently, I serve as Advocacy & Communications Associate at Women4GlobalFund (W4GF), a global movement promoting rights-based health systems for women and gender-diverse people. I contribute to campaigns, global statements, and content strategies focused on HIV, TB, malaria.
I was selected for the Excellence in Journalism Program by the German Embassy in Quito and completed the Public Policy and Gender Justice course at CLACSO, earning an A-grade for my gender-focused policy work. My portfolio includes podcast co-creation, debate facilitation, and media storytelling that uplifts voices from the Global South.
Beyond politics I’ve managed labour rights projects such as Chaki Urbana, and organised inclusive events for
women and LGBTQ+ communities. My academic work includes published research on feminist movements, and I currently coordinate public dialogues through “Y las Palabras”, a civic engagement initiative in Quito.
